In today’s age of processed chemicals and manufacturing, it can be hard to find 100% Natural or Organic Cleaning Products, Clothes and Dietary Supplements. Especially for people with multiple chemical sensitivity, to maintain optimal health, it is very important to eliminate as many chemicals as you can from your life.
I have been very strict in my use of natural and organic products for over 10 years. I have found the best of the best and have used every one of the products I am listing below. I have provided direct links to these products to make it easy for you to find and buy them if you wish to get them online.
Clothes
It is very important to get clothes that are natural and organic.
Many clothes are “Off gassed” after they are manufactured to make them lay flat when they are on display at stores. These gasses are super toxic and usually contain formaldehyde. Even after washing clothes that are off gassed, the gasses can be detected coming off the clothes for over two years.
Synthetic fibers like polyester create skin reactions like itching and can stick in your lungs and create even more problems.
Natural and Organic Clothing
Rawganique
Rawganique has clothes and dresses for women, clothes for men, boys, girls and babies in Organic Cotton, Organic Linen and Organic Hemp. They also have bedding, sheets, natural mattresses, towels, accessories and some food products. Detergent
Most detergents contain BHT or other synthetic preservatives which can dry out your skin and cause itching or rashes. Even the products that say they are natural like Ecos, Ecover and Seventh Generation contain mainly chemicals and include preservatives.

Toothcare Products
Mainstream toothpaste and even some of the “natural” toothpaste like Tom’s of Maine and Jason’s contain fluoride which is toxic to the entire body and the pineal gland which is associated with your 3rd eye. They usually contain artificial chemicals, fragrances and preservatives including sulfates like Sodium Laurel Sulfate which is known to cause cancer.
Organic Toothcare Products
Coconut Oil
Organic Coconut Oil is an amazing toothpaste as it is super antibacterial. You will need to add some baking soda to your teeth brushing once a week to keep your teeth super clean.

Toothsoap Liquid
This is another open for a flavored toothpaste. It is made up of organic coconut oil, organic raw honey (both of which are super anti-bacterial) and an aromatherapy for flavor. It comes as a liquid and most of the flavors taste really good. My favorites are Fruit Punch and Passion Fruit. (do not get the citrus as it doesn’t taste very good).
Tooth Brightener
When using Toothsoap or plain Coconut oil for your toothpaste, it is important to use baking soda once a week to keep your teeth super clean. Tooth Brightener is a flavored toothpaste with baking soda in it for this purpose.
Skin Care and Lotion
For your skin, go simple. Pure Oils are the most effective for keeping your skin looking vibrant, healthy and hydrated.
Most lotions, even the ones that say Organic/Natural in the Brand title like Aubrey Organics, Jason Naturals, etc, are not organic/100% natural. Products are only Organic if they have the USDA Organic Logo on them. Always look at the ingredients list for every product you buy.

Bath and Hand Soap
Most bath and hand soaps (and bubble baths) are mostly chemicals and water. If it says Anti-bacterial on it, it either contains high levels of alcohol (which will dry out your skin) or triclosan, triclocarban and choloroxylenol which are toxic and can mess up your intestinal flora (probiotics) which is important to digestive health.
The difference in antibacterial soaps compared to normal soaps in germ killing power is negligible. And if the soap has anti-bacterial oils or aromatherapy in it, you have a natural germ killer that doesn’t affect your body in a negative way.
Organic and Natural Hand Soaps
Dr. Bronner’s
Dr. Bronner’s is a natural hand soap made with mostly organic ingredients including organic coconut oil, organic olive oil, organic hemp oil and sometimes organic aromatherapy. It includes Potassium Hydroxide which saponifies the oils which makes it naturally foam. Potassium Hydroxide is also known as lye. I don’t seem to have a problem with this unless I leave it on my skin for too long with out washing it off.
It comes in liquid or bar form. I prefer the liquid.
I use Dr. Bronner’s for shower soap, hand soap and dish soap.
There are many amazing scents of Dr. Bronner’s soaps my favorites are Lavender and Almond. Many people like the Peppermint scent as it leaves your body tingling.

All of these except the Free and Clear have Anti-bacterial aromatherapy in them. For the maximum anti-bacterial (for cleaning out wounds) I would recommend the Tea Tree scent.

Note: I do not recommend the Dr. Bronner’s Hand Pump Organic Sugar Soap as the pump usually gets clogged very fast.
Anti-bacterial Disinfectants
Normal anti-bacterial creams for cleaning out wounds are filled with chemicals and preservatives and can hurt your intestinal flora (probiotics) which is important to digestive health.
Using a simple Aromatherapy Oil will do an amazing job of killing any bacteria that may be in wounds.

Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 3%
If you want to go all out you can use Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 3% to instantly kill all germs on contact. It is safe to use on your skin, gargle with, and some people take it internally (see One Minute Miracle Cure). Only use Food Grade diluted to 3%.
The normal Hydrogen Peroxide in brown bottles you see at the store is toxic. Never use that on your skin.

Cleaning
Most mainstream cleaning products are filled with chemicals including alcohol, synthetic fragrances, formaldehyde and ammonia. These are all bad for your health and when using cleaning chemicals will absorb through your skin and your lungs from the air you breath which can cause: skin rashes, irritation, itching, asthma, allergies, brain fog and more.
Most of the “natural” cleaners are not natural including Seventh Generation, Ecos and Ecover, Meyers, Green Works, Method, Better Life, Biokleen, J.R. Watkins, etc. They are not 100% natural, they contain or are completely chemicals.
Always check the ingredients of any cleaning product you are buying.
Organic and Natural Cleaning Products
Vinegar
White Vinegar is amazing for cleaning surfaces and removing grease/soap scum. It is also anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Put some in a spray bottle and use it to clean surfaces, counters, sinks, etc.
For soap scum, spray the surface with vinegar, let it sit for 10 minutes and then wipe away.
For deeper cleaning like toilets, sprinkle Baking Soda on it and then spray vinegar on it. It will foam up a little bit and allow you to scrub the hard to clean stuff off effortlessly.
Don’t worry, the vinegar smell will go away, it doesn’t last long.
Cleaning Disinfectant
Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 3%
If you want to go disinfect surfaces, you can use Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 3% to instantly kill all germs on contact. Only use Food Grade diluted to 3%. The normal Hydrogen Peroxide in brown bottles you see at the store is toxic.

Dish Soap
Most mainstream dish soaps are 100% synthetic both in composition and fragrance. Both are very toxic and you absorb them into your skin while washing dishes and breath in the toxic fragrances. DO NOT USE THESE.
DO NOT USE SEVENTH GENERATION DISH SOAP. Most dish soaps labeled as natural are not natural or organic, and they will dry out/irritate your skin.
Organic Dish Soap
Dr. Bronner’s
Dr. Bronner’s is a natural liquid castile soap made with mostly organic ingredients including organic coconut oil, organic olive oil, organic hemp oil and some times organic aromatherapy. Paper Towels / Toilet Paper
Be careful of paper towels and toilet paper as they are usually whitened with chlorine bleach which can soak into your skin. Also, the glues that most companies use to glue the paper towels to the cardboard roll can be toxic.
I like Seventh Generation Brand white paper towels and toilet paper.

Hair Care
Most mainstream shampoos and conditioners are filled with harmful chemicals including sulfates like Sodium Laurel Sulfate, 1,4 Dioxane, Cocamidopropyl Betaine (coco betaine) which soak in to your bloodstream when used.
Most alternative Shampoos and Conditioners, even the ones that say Organic/Natural in the Brand title like Aubrey Organics, Jason Naturals, etc, are not usually organic or 100% natural. Dietary Supplements
Most mainstream dietary supplements and vitamins have fillers, binders and synthetic compounds in them. Some of the capsules and softgels are created from a toxic process.
Even the supplements marked “Natural” or “High Quality” can have toxic ingredients in them like Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide, Hypromellose Capsules and preservatives.
It is important that you are getting the highest quality supplements as you are taking these directly into your body and they go to every cell of your body.
Vitamins
Multi-vitamins are very important to a healthy lifestyle. The mainstream vitamins are usually filled with fillers and chemicals. Do not eat chewable vitamins ever.
Get pure capsules with high quality ingredients and no fillers.

Deodorant
Most mainstream deodorants and antiperspirants are mainly chemicals and contain aluminum which can lead to many forms of cancer including breast cancer. Antiperspirants are designed to override your body’s ability to detoxify itself. Let your body detoxify itself when it wants to.
If you are well hydrated and bath at least every 2 days, you should not need deodorant. If you are someone who still wants it, use a Deodorant Stone.
